Undertow
Morphing modulation matrix

What is Undertow?
Undertow is a two-dimensional wavetable VCO and LFO matrix for complex, spatial modulation. It's the hidden current beneath the surface — invisible, constantly changing, shaping everything above it.

What does it really do?
Undertow is a modulation system with a 5 by 3 CV matrix: instead of one VCO/LFO waveform, it gives you fifteen simultaneous outputs, each a unique position between two wavetable LFOs.
You can morph waveform and frequency across the horizontal axis. The mod generator with selectable type shapes the vertical axis from clean to turbulent modulation.
There's no such thing as too much modulation.
Hei there! We will be showing and demoing Undertow at Superbooth 2026. Come try it yourself and say hei at booth W475.
How does Undertow work?

1
5 by 3 matrix of fifteen simultaneous bipolar CV outputs with LEDs.
2
End-of-cycle output on both sides for creative patching.
3
Waveform control on both sides with CV control and attenuation, and five banks of wavetables.
4
Mod amount control scales the modulation happening bottom to top through the vertical axis.
5
Clock input on both sides allows for interesting rhythmic modulation play.
6
Morphing between left and right side waveform and frequency on horizontal axis, clean motion to turbulent modulation on the vertical axis.
7
When frequency attenuation is turned all the way up, both sides track V/oct CV and turn Undertow into a very interesting VCO.
8
Frequency control on both sides with CV control and attenuation. Divides and multiplies when clocked.
9
Mod type selects the type of modulation applied on vertical axis.
