These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through the Ferry Island Modular online store at ferryislandmodular.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Company Information

Ferry Island Modular is a registered trade name of Goney Global Industries Oy, a Finnish company registered in Helsinki, Finland with the business ID 3212410-4.

2. Products

We sell electronic music hardware — specifically Eurorack-format synthesizer modules — through our online store. All products are designed and manufactured in Finland.

All prices are displayed in euros (EUR). VAT is included in the listed price for EU customers.

3. Orders and Payment

Orders are accepted through our Shopify-powered store. By completing checkout, you are making a binding offer to purchase. We reserve the right to decline an order, in which case you will be notified and any payment refunded in full.

We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. We do not store card details.

4. Shipping

We ship to EU member states. Orders are fulfilled from Kotka, Finland. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details on processing times, carriers, and tracking.

5. Returns and Cancellations

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU).

To exercise your right of withdrawal:

  • Contact us at team@ferryislandmodular.com within 14 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and a brief note of your intention to return
  • Return the item in its original, unused condition with all original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept liability for items lost in return transit.

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item. We reserve the right to withhold or reduce a refund if the product has been used beyond what is necessary to assess its condition.

Custom-configured or specially ordered items may not be eligible for return. We will confirm this at the time of order if applicable.

6. Warranty

All Ferry Island Modular products carry a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by operation outside the specified voltage range
  • Products with removed or altered serial numbers

To make a warranty claim, contact us at team@ferryislandmodular.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We may request photos or video. At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund the product.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer law.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts. EU consumers also retain the right to seek recourse through their local consumer protection authority or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on our website with the effective date. Your continued use of our store after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
